Pone,
Hope this is what you needed to assist. The question, Is there a way to separate the Credits and Notes data within the same field, similar to how you can add a line in actions? By separate, I mean to add a space or line. Currently, I have the credit and note data going to Discogs Credit field. It works; however, it jams it all in a complete, continuous sentence. Here a Disc ID for example. Freddie Hubbard – Open Sesame Label: Blue Note Catalog#: 7243 4 95341 2 4 which comes out looking like this: Bass: Sam Jones Drums: Clifford Jarvis Piano: McCoy Tyner Tenor Saxophone: Tina Brooks Trumpet: Freddie HubbardTrack 7 and 8 are not on the original LP. Would like it to look like so: Bass: Sam Jones Drums: Clifford Jarvis Piano: McCoy Tyner Tenor Saxophone: Tina Brooks Trumpet: Freddie Hubbard Notes: Track 7 and 8 are not on the original LP. So where in the src? can I do this. Thanks |

You don't have to change the src files manually. That is what I have my settings mp3 file made for.
Repeat steps 6 & 7 of the script installation as described here: http://forums.mp3tag.de/index.php?showtopic=10431 At step 6, make the following settings: DISCOGS_CREDITS = discogs credits DISCOGS_NOTES = discogs credits DISCOGS~PONE MULTILINE FIELD = discogs credits This is what you will get then for the tag field DISCOGS CREDITS: ZITAT(DISCOGS CREDITS) Credits: Bass: Sam Jones Drums: Clifford Jarvis Piano: McCoy Tyner Tenor Saxophone: Tina Brooks Trumpet: Freddie Hubbard Notes: Track 7 and 8 are not on the original LP. This is a CD-reissue, originally this record was released in 1960. EDIT: The DISCOGS~PONE MULTILINE FIELD signals the script to write the field not only with the discogs content, but with seperating headlines and empty lines. This works only for DISCOGS_CREDITS, DISCOGS_NOTES, DISCOGS_BARCODES AND OTHER IDENTIFIERS and DISCOGS~PONE TRACKLIST. The last one is only written by the "tracklist for DJ Sets in one file" script. By the way: I meant, ask your questions direct here: http://forums.mp3tag.de/index.php?showtopic=10431 And a discogs release ID is the number in the URL of a page. For your example, there are still two different pages with the same Artist, Album, Label & Catalog #: http://www.discogs.com/Freddie-Hubbard-Ope...release/2633263 http://www.discogs.com/Freddie-Hubbard-Ope.../release/378385 This post has been edited by pone: Aug 15 2011, 14:58 |
