Hello,

Similar to the above request I'm trying to get this to work with the UK site (.co.uk) but I'm not an expert. Its finding the album and title ok, but the Artist edit box displays <error> From what I see in the .src file it is looking for "/product/ ... >" then getting the artist up to a "<" and the page source on Amazon seems to match that so not sure why it isn't pulling out the artist.

For the record I'm searching for "A Beautiful Lie" by "30 Seconds To Mars".

Any updates or even pointers on how to narrow down what is wrong are appreciated.

Thanks for you help so far, (on other thread), Martin.

I should probably add I copied the .com source and swapped .com for .co.uk. Might need some work ording the date uk style if I get past the artist field.

Fantastic it works a treat, looked like the inital problem was a case sensitivity when I diffed it I'll bear that in mind if I start tinkering with these myself in the future.

Thanks again, Martin

Hey,

Could somebody please correct me if I'm wrong but I could have sworn this script used to fill out a hell of a lot more information than it seems to be doing nowadays?

In the 'Additional information' box all it gives me is the publisher. And to the left it no longer fills out the genre. I'm pretty sure it used to tag my files with the Amazon release date, too.

I've noticed it hasn't been updated for what looks like a couple of years now, could that be the reason?

I'd love for this script to be as details as the iTunes script by andathanas, filling out information such as the composer, copyright information, and the Amazon.com song ID number in the comments field, which is added to songs downloaded from their store (Amazon.com Song ID: 236063533) - for example.

If I even knew where to begin I'd attempt to update it myself, and create a Google Play Music script I'm also desperately after. I've searched for tutorials, dissected scripts and tried to have a go myself but, unfortunately, it is so far beyond me that all I can do is leave it up to you professionals.

PS. Please don't take this post as me bashing and/or criticising - I knew just how time-consuming they can be, not to mention a headache. I truly appreciate all the hard work everyone has put in to provide us all with the wonderful scripts already out there.

Regards,
