Does Mp3tag can do mass removal of IDv1 & IDv2 tags from MP3s? I do not mean blanking the fields, but actually removal of IDv1 & IDv2.
For example load up Winamp (any version) and right-click on MP3 in playlist (ALT-3) to view file info. Then untick IDv1 & IDv2. I did a comparison on a file with blank IDv1/IDv2 and the same file but with IDv1/IDv2 turned off. The latter is much smaller file size. The only problem Winamp doesn't do mass ID tag removal. |

You can use "delete tags" button/"file"-menu item. In options->tags you can select types of tags you want to delete. regards nickless -------------------- |
