Has anyone created an "action" to resync field content between tag versions? I believe that I have a number of files with out-of-sync content of one or more ID3v1 and ID3v2 fields.
Should I simply delete the ID3v1 fields? or will this mess things up? Is there a "best practice" for cleaning this up? Thanks! |

You can sync by saving the tags again.
Note: Mp3tag displays only one tag type For example, if you have the following options: Read: ID3v1 and ID3v2 Write: ID3v1 and ID3v2 Now you have a file with both tag types, then what you see is the ID3v2 tag. If you save the tags now [Ctrl+S] the ID3v1 tag will get the same values as the ID3v2 -------------------- |

Thanks, dano.
Is there a way to identify the files with out-of-sync tags? |
