Full Version: Tracknumber format at Tag - Filename

Maybe a bit off-topic: the current version of MP3Tag will not convert the tracks from one digit to two when generating filenames (using Tag - Filename). Is it possible to have the old behaviour back?

If you don't understand what I mean, here is an example:

QUOTE (Old Behaviour)
Track: 5
Title: Bubu
...
Filename (using "%n %t"): 05 Bubu

QUOTE (New Behaviour)
Track: 5
Title: Bubu
...
Filename (using "%n %t"): 5 Bubu

Sebastian,

IMO the old behaviour is not very logical, because it always exports tracknumbers with leading zeros and doesn't care about the track#-format in the tag.

I think a build in scripting function like $num(x,y) for Tag - Filename, which returns x as decimal number and pads with zeros up to y characters is more flexible.

With best regards,

Current development build ships with $num(x,y) scripting command smile.gif
