today i tried flac encoding for the first time with the FLAC frontend and wanted to tag the files with mp3tag but they dont get loaded
i also encoded to lossless .ogg files with the same programm but there are no tags saved for these files by mp3tag nor are they read when tagged with foobar(maybe they are recognized as normal ogg files?)

I've never tried OggFLAC with Mp3tag and I don't know, if it's supported. But Mp3tag should definitly load you flac-files and tag them.

Are the flac files displayed in Mp3tags file view but the tags of these files are not loaded? Or didn't Mp3tag load your flac-files at all?

no, not even loaded :/

they are also not mentioned in the list of tags to read:

*.ape; *.mp1; *.mp2; *.mp3; *.mpc; *.ogg; *.wma; *.mp4; *.m4a; *.spx;

What about adding their extension to the list of file types to read? wink.gif

*.ape; *.mp1; *.mp2; *.mp3; *.mpc; *.ogg; *.wma; *.mp4; *.m4a; *.spx; *.flac;
