Different Album Art for Tracks from the Same Album?

So, I don't know if this is actually possible to do this the way I want to but I thought I would give it a shot by posting here...

I have a CD that I am trying to rip to my Creative Zen Vision:M 30 gb using EAC/Lame and then editing the tags with MP3tag. The CD that I am trying to rip is one of the Artist's Choice CDs that Starbucks used to sell, where one artist picks songs from their favorite artists so basically it is a CD where every song is by a different artist. There is no default art for this CD on Amazon so I was trying to resize different .jpgs of these artists that I found on the Internet and then attach them to their appropriate songs.

So, as of the four songs that I want to rip to my mp3 player, all 4 display the correct album art that I assigned to them in MP3tag and when I look at them on my computer. However, when I try to transfer them over to my mp3 player, the album art gets all messed up. It seems like it can only attach one type of art from one of the tracks (which it seems to randomly pick because I've tried loading these songs multiple different ways and it will always attach one cover to all of the 4 songs, but it is different each time. So basically what I'm saying is that there seems to be no problems with the size/type of cover art itself since I have seen all 4 .jpg images load onto the mp3 player). When I try loading the tracks on one at a time, it is fine until I get to the second song, which imprints its cover art over the first song that is already on the mp3 player.

So, my question is this: can I assign different album art to multiple tracks from the same album? And if so, how do I go about doing that in MP3tag?

I think you did everything right but it seems that your player is storing the cover art on a per-album basis in an internal database.

I'm not 100% sure because I can't try it myself, but it seems that this is not possible with this device.

You can add different album art to each song from the album. You have to select one track at a time, and then click on the space on the left where the album art is displayed. Then either add a new image, or I suggest delete the image and then add the image you want. Then save the change and go on to the next song.

He is right. The Creative mp3 players create their own album image (.alb on your mp3 player) based off the last image embedded in a track from an album. This is a pain not only with songs with different images associated with each song (e.g Nine Inch Nails - Ghosts I-IV) but also with albums that happened to be named the same. Nothing like having the same art for Snoop Dogg's Greatest Hits and The Red Hot Chili Peppers' Greatest Hits
