I have a problem with the Lyric Wiki script, and I'm not sure how to correct it.

It's from Dano and I downloaded it last week

It seems to find the song lyrics OK but they don't appear in the "Additional Information" box in the "Adjust Tag Information" form.

I know that it's finding the lyrics I'm after because when I click the link to "This album on Lyric Wiki" it displays the XML file

Any help greatly appreciated

Lee

Hello,

I want to unterstand the "Lyrics#leoslyrics.src" and there are 2 things I don´t understand.

1. What does "regexpreplace "&#xD;" "\r\n""?
2. Why mp3tag reads the two spaces as a newline?

(I think \r\n are symbols for newline. Probably there is a connection between these two questions.)

I'm not sure how the scripting works, but is it possible to be able to grab lyrics from http://www.ohhla.com/? There is no search function, so perhaps it is not doable. However, if it is possible, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks for all of your work.

Should be simple work for the src coders.
On http://www.ohhla.com there are some directory pages with lists of artists:
a: http://www.ohhla.com/all.html#a
b: http://www.ohhla.com/all.html#b
c: http://www.ohhla.com/all.html#c
d: http://www.ohhla.com/all.html#d
e: http://www.ohhla.com/all.html#e
f: http://www.ohhla.com/all.html#f
g: http://www.ohhla.com/all.html#g
h-o: http://www.ohhla.com/all_two.html
p-z: http://www.ohhla.com/all_three.html

Once you have found an artist that exists you can build the accesspath to the artist:
http://www.ohhla.com/anonymous/assassin/
... then to the album:
http://www.ohhla.com/anonymous/assassin/homicide/
... then to the text file:
http://www.ohhla.com/anonymous/assassin/ho...abylone.ass.txt
Get the textfile and ready.

Thanks DetlevD for looking into the directory structure. Hopefully this can be programmed for all of us hip hop fans (however many there are).

LyricsWiki seems to no longer support Web Source Scripts:

"Unfortunately, due to licensing restrictions from some of the major music publishers we can no longer return lyrics through the LyricWiki API (where this application gets some or all of its lyrics).

The lyrics for this song can be found at the following URL:
some url

(Please note: this is not the fault of the developer who created this application, but is a restriction imposed by the music publishers themselves.)"

Currently I'm having no luck with any of the available lyrics script.s sad.gif

Unfortunately the darklyrics script is not working properly...

It is a really helpful script and it works perfectly sometimes, for example the band Blind Guardian, but with others it doesn't, like Grave Digger or Annihilator, even though the lyrics are on the website and when I click on "This album on Darklyrics" it redirects me to the correct page. It shows under additional information: UNSYNCEDLYRICS <Error>.

I had a problem with getting the lyrics for this album (DarkLyrics):
http://www.darklyrics.com/lyrics/dawnrider...callingpti.html

For whatever reason the html code of that pages misses a blank line after the <br><br> line break tags (as assumed by the darkLyrics script), so the following line of code dind't work for me in this case:

CODE
    moveline 2 1

To solve my problem, I replaced the code with the following lines:

CODE
    moveline 1 1
    unspace
    ifNot "<a "
        moveline 1 1
        unspace
    endif

This should be edited in both, the if "<FONT"- and its else-statement.

Greetings,
Christian

BTW. What is the second parameter of moveline for?

Thanks, I used a little different fix.

BTW. What is the second parameter of moveline for?

If moveline goes into an empty line, it will cause an error.
With the second parameter I can ignore this error.

Thanks for the answer and for the great DarkLyrics script of course! Sad it's the only possibility for tagging complete albums...

Hi!

Thx for this fantastic script!
So, one question, how to get lyrics of the entire album...

Song by song is a little long work...
