[F] Installation

I am unable to instal v. 2.52 on my computer (i5, 4GB RAM, 1TB HDD). It goes through the initial part but when installing is to start, it says that I must stop all other instances of mp3tag, although this is the first time I am installing it!

A screenshot is enclosed.

Hope you can help me instal it quickly!

Thanks,
sproyy

You did not say what operating system is involved.
Well ... at first you should consider the error message.
It seems that you do not know how to use the Windows Taskmanager ... so the quickest way to prove the error message itself is ... shutdown the computer, then restart, then try the installation of Mp3tag again.

best regards

Have you made sure that you install it with a user-id that has administrator permissions?

It could be that the file is corrupt, please try to download it again, but also have you checked your PC for malware recently ??

Dear All,

Sorry for the delay in responding. I could instal it without any problem by right-clicking and "run as administrator". BTW, I use Win 7 Ultimate (64-bit).

Thanks for your help.

SP Roy
