Using ACSII-character 39 (') in the converter or in actions you get a "Syntax error in formatting string".
For Instance:
Converter Tag-Tag
Field: TITLE
Format String: %title% (Editor's Choice)

will create "Syntax error in formatting string".

Isn't it that you have to use 2 ' to get one as a literal? Otherwise the ' serves as a part of the syntax to enclose strings and they then have to appear in pairs.

See e.g. the help: http://help.mp3tag.de/main_scripting.html

You are right.
I looked in the help files because I had the suspicion that this could be a problem with a reserved character but I did not find it.
